Automated import of two Excel files into Access DB.

Import setup/requirements on Windows Server 2003 This database will be the back end for a web application. Written in either Visual Basic 6 or Visual Basic 2005 1. I will be importing two Excel files into separate tables in the same Access database. The Excel files will be in a subdirectory of Access Database file. 2. This will be done weekly, and must be able to run via Windows Scheduler and without having the server logged in. 3. [login to view URL] will be imported into tbl_TaxIssues. Will only be importing three fields from the CSV file - Case ID, Co. Code, Creation Date/Time from csv for into CaseID, CoCode,ContactDate fields. 4. [login to view URL] will be imported into tbl_TeledataIssues. Will only be importing three fields from the xls file - Case ID, Co. Code, Creation Date/Time from xls for into CaseID, CoCode,ContactDate fields. When the import runs I would like it to check any records where the Case ID and Co. Code already exist in the table to skip that record and move on. The xls files have several other fields besides what I want imported, but nothing will happen with those fields. I would like this well documented as I plan on using this as a learning tool for myself. Access file and xls files will be provided upon bid acceptance. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
