duMonde is a boutique strategy and business consulting firm that specialises in developing practical business and training solutions to defence and government. We are looking for a web developer who is able to convert our existing Flash based website into HTML using our design template and existing content (to be provided at a later date) Website features / job specifications: • Develop a HTML based website • Possess a comprehensive Content Management System (CMS) • Be Search Engine Optimised • Have a “Contact Us” facility that allows the client to send enquiries to duMonde • Not restricted to page limits • Easy to amend and update • Contain a web analytic tool that will allow duMonde to track site activity • Follow the design and content details as specified on the template (to be provided) Essential skills: • Extensive experience in front-end web development • Strong Web Design skills with a solid knowledge of Photoshop / Adobe Creative Suite; • Ability to write clean and valid XHTML documents; • Strong CSS2 and CSS3 skills; understands browser version limitations and quirks. Preferred skills: • Some experience writing JavScript (vanilla and the jQuery) • Experience with Flash, ActionScript 3.0 A fixed-price will be agreed upon with the chosen applicant.
