Create stronger website without pop-ups

I'm having recurring pop-ups on my website but need them to disappear - and not return. They seem to appear on Macs, and are blocked on some Windows-based Internet browsers. I am looking for someone who is familiar with Word Press templates, as I have used one template to create my site (Picturesque by Justin Tadlock, Version 0.1.1). I either need someone to remove the pop-ups and ensure they don't return, or find a similar-looking template to port all of the posts to. Please provide some links to sites you have created or modified, as well as your qualifications in completing this task.
