Derelict furniture is made of old wood recovered from such places as decrepit sheds, woodpiles or industrial scrap. It is built on the idea of finding a creative balance between mechanical precision and the wood’s own imperfections – the cracked and worn nature of the wood is what gives it its colour nuances and textural beauty. The goal is to create products that follow a consistent idiom, but each object becomes unique thanks to the material used. Derelict. Green and Creative.
