We have an existing web site in Drupal 6 and intend to create a new responsive website in Drupal 7 with new design and new content, but keep some technical functionality.
Present status:
A consultant has created a set of wire frames describing the new site with structure, a rough design for each page and a rough description of the content for each page.
Our internal designer has created .psd files for a few a pages.
Our website has a number of pretty complex custom made modules. The custom made modules have a lot of connections to our MySQL-database.
Most of the custom made modules have been updated to Drupal 7.
We had another developer involved but he didn't deliver what he promised so the project is now delayed and it's extremely important that you have capacity to implement the theme and wireframes within about a week!!
Our needs and work process:
1. Change to a new theme.
There are two options:
A.) Implementation of a standard responsive theme for Drupal 7 which we will buy in cooperation with you. You will make all necessary changes to the theme to suite the wire frames and implement all changes decided by our in house graphical designer.
B.) Create a new theme from scratch.
Which option to choose will be discussed with you but we believe option A. will be a faster and more reliable way to go.
All parts of the new site must be converted to responsive design including the custom modules and the design and functionality must match the wire frames.
2. Upgrade the last custom module which has not been modified from to Drupal 7 yet.
3. Create all menu items, pages, forms etc. according to the wire frames, but without final content and implement the main structure and design for each
4. Support us with technical support while we work with the content for each page.
We want to get a fixed price for number 1-3 and a price per hour for number 4.
We will set up the following milestones at Freelancer:
• 40% of the fixed cost after approved number 1 and 2
• 40% of the fixed cost after approved number 3
• 20% of the fixed cost when web site is launched and all bugs are solved
All work shall be made in the test environment on our development server where we have a copy of the web site.
Before final acceptance of the project you will get access to the website, wire frames, .psd-files and ftp log in.
We expect number 1-3 to be finalized within 1-2 weeks.
Bug fixing support for 1 month after launch of website should be included within this project price. (This support will of course only trigger if any issue occurs.)
To bid on this project you need to have a deep understanding of web design, creating Drupal custom modules and creating themes for Drupal.
