We are developing a back-end order system for a food services company. We have too much work on our plate and require assistance with the development of the site. We will be the contact with the client. Project has already been started (and design created) but could be modified if necessary. Description: Task 1: Develop overall design/concept and navigation system (this is a back-end system that is only to be viewed by clients and staff and hence does not need to be flashy) Task 2: Create and Develop Required Databases / Database Tables Task 3: Develop User Login Interface - Creation of login script and interface for users, sales representatives and administrators - Create a password retrieval system which is based on their email address and a security question and answer - Assign a pricing scale for customer to be used for customer specific pricing Task 4: Develop User Interface & Order System User Management: - User has the ability to manage their password, email contact and security question for the login interface Ordering System: - Build order from scratch by searching product database by product description, product number or manufacturer or build order from an existing order template stored by user - As user builds the order, they will be able to track order total as well as weight total in a summary box - View past orders - View pending orders - Ability to store Order templates - Create order template from current order - Submit pending orders after selecting shipping date (which will be restricted to specific days of week for each customer). Staff / Sales Associates: - Sales associates will have access to all of the same features as the customer with the exception that they will have to select the customer from a list of their customers before proceeding with placing an order - They will also be able to store templates for each customer or also store a standard template which could be used for all customers Task 5: Develop Admin Interface - Cron Job creation which connects to client server and uploads daily snapshot or product database - View current and past orders - Download daily orders - export comma separate values (csv) file to be imported to your current system - Manage User access - create new users and suspend or delete existing users - Grant employee permission to users (employees would have access to their own customers)
