**Hello coders...
I have created a program in Visual Basic 6, Add / Remove Platinum 2004. Basically, the program displays all the programs installed on your computer and you can select the program and uninstall it.
Here is my dilemma... when a user selects a program, and clicks uninstall, the program runs the uninstall routine for the selected program, but before the uninstall proceeds, the user is prompted by the uninstall routine if they are sure if they want to continue and they can select Yes, or No. If they select yes, then the program is uninstalled, if not the program is not uninstalled. Which ever the user decides... the Add / Remove program asks the user if the uninstall was a sucess or not, if yes the the program removes the displayed icon from the program and if not, the program just closes that form and waits for another program to be displayed...
I want to know if their is anyway to determine if a specific button was clicked, particularly, the Yes or No button from another running application (the uninstall routine of any selected program). Then if the Yes button was selected then the Add / Remove program can remove the icon from the list and if No was selected, then the Add / Remove program will just do nothing and wait for another command by the user.
Please let me know and show me some code of an example of this in Visual Basic 6...
Payment will be provided the person whom provides me with a workable example of what I am looking for.
You can download my program and check out what happens when you select the uninstall command is selected...
