Convert MS Access to VB and SQL Server

I have an existing MS Access application that needs to be converted into VB 6 and SQL Server 2005 format.? Since this is an extensive system that has been running for a number of years, the conversion project willl be done in modules.? This bid relates to the first module. The functionality involves importing data files (Excel format) into the database, analysing the data format and mapping to standard database fields and definitions provided. The current solution is customised for each client, but the re-engineered VB module will need to be generic and cater for all known variations. Examples of the inpput data (Excel), the database tables (Access) and the current application (Acces) as well as a Word document explaining the methodology will be provided. If you have generic? software that already meets all of the requirements, that will also be considered, but it will have to be integrated into the overall VB application.
