Hello, This small program will contain three parts: 1) Client Service, which will receive requests and send information 2) Server Service, to communicate with clients and runs the scheduled tasks 3) A GUI Based Applet for managing the tasks ============== Client Service: Will run as a service for Windows XP (and Vista if possible - not that important though) and will receive the tasks send by the server service, and will send a response back to say it's received it and completed or can't complete it. Will allow the machine to Restart, Turn off, turn off/on monitor (by sleep mode). Will also update the server service with the computer name and MAC Address(es). Server Service: Will log information received into a file for computer name and mac addresses, and a file for logs (a log for every day in the yyyymmdd format. Will run the tasks and send the responses to clients, or magic packets (for WOL) GUI: This will allow me to pick up OU's within a domain and be able to schedule a task/do a task immediately to turn on (wol), restart, turn off or put monitor on/into sleep mode. When doing the options (apart from WOL) will ask to do the task if a user is logged in. Will also ask for count down and a display message. If For the GUI can be a standalone app or possible integrate with the MMC Snapin for Active Directory Computers and Users. ===================== This project will be released as an open source project.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
