**Overview of requirement.**
A legacy application contains several directories with numerous variable (I think) record length files. The data has been compressed with a [login to view URL] by a Delphi application.
A requirement exists for an application to cycle through the directories and decompress this data, using the [login to view URL] which will be provided.
For every file that is successfully de-compressed, a corresponding output file will be created in a CSV fomat, into a directory specified by the user.
The directories to cycle through are contained within an existing .INI file and will be provided
The application should pick up this .INI file, prompt the user for the output directory (Creating it - if it does not exist) and then decompress and cycle through all the files.
Success and failure (of each converted file) should be reported in a text based log file.
Just to provide further clarification - each file holds 1...n records, of which each record is rcompressed. I have attached a small file sample for those who are interested.
