Simple VBScript to check the **event log for errors**, then email and log when a error is encountered.
I would like a script I can schedule to check the Application and System Event log’s for Stop errors. **Option to receive an email on a stop error either app log, sys log, both, or neither.**
A separate text file, with an event log ID’s, one per line, as an “ignore?? list to ignore errors for this event ID.
Each stop error should be **logged into this separate text log file**, with a daily naming convention (example: [login to view URL], [login to view URL]). Also please use the most widely compatible email delivery system (CDONTS maybe).
The email should be able to send to **multiple recipients**, also include as much detail as possible about the stop error.
Script should be written as **simple** as possible. Please include plenty of **comments** within the code to explain what each part is [login to view URL] external files used are to be text files only, **no database usage** [login to view URL] completion of the transaction, all source code and ownership are the **sole property** of the buyer.
