**Build/Burning DVD Movie Briefing Paper**

I would like a RentaCoder to put together a briefing paper on the following…

Please note I want to do this from a custom program (preferably from VB), so other then using third party programs to generate various elements (to merge files, create buttons etc), I need someone who has an idea about creating a custom solution. I do not want to use a package to do this ??" I know I can do this using any number of DVD authoring tools.

YOU DO NOT NEED YOU TO WRITE THE PROGRAM ??" I ONLY NEED SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON HOW I MAY BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT.

**DVD Background**

Brief background on how the structure of a DVD is composed on the DVD itself. File types (specifications), viewable sizes for PAL and NTSC etc. How does a menu system work, how are the file/options structured.

**DVD Program Outline**

I want to build a custom program (hopefully in Visual Basic) that would allow me to build a custom DVD based on user selections. Take a custom image as the menu background screen ??" button on the DVD to play the "movie" ??" take several pieces of "movie" and join them together and write the complete DVD to a DVD-R that would play on a normal DVD player.

**DVD Program Particulars**

I need more information on the following…

See Zip file for more information.

Some of the above information can be taken from websites, as it is for my personal use and not to be republished, but must be in a structured format and answer the questions that I have posed??" not just vast amounts of web pages cut and pasted into a document.
