Our DFCP (Digital Flash Cards Player) needs to be built to load and run as quickly as possible.
We have a database of flash cards that include an English name, audio clip, and a photo. There are 10 - 12 flash cards in each flash card set so we need a developer to provide us a solution for pre-loading the data (name, audio, photo for all cards) then displaying them in a browser. We'd like the solution to be compatible with various sized browsers and usable within an iOS & Android App for phase 2.
The first phase of this is deploying the DFCP through a web interface.
There needs to be communication between the DFCP and php or javascript for tracking purposes.
The most important part of this project is the pre-loading and display of this content. It needs to be done with exacting precision as the display speed is a scientific method. The last element is that the flash card set containing 10 - 12 cards will be viewed in a random order each time it's viewed.
We've considered video for this project but have found that deploying this for various platforms and devices is going to be very data intensive so we'd like something that loads and displays the flash cards.
I will add a zip folder containing a CSV, audio and photos files as well as a sample output of the flash cards.
Flash is NOT an option for this project as it's not compatible with iOS and Android.
