If I understand you correctly, you want a PHP page to accept an upload, which is a list of names (one per line). The page then shows the contents of the file (one per line) with a checkbox next to each line (a name). The user can then tick as many as they wish, and click Submit, which then downloads a new flat file, in the same format as the original, but with only the ticked names. Correct?
