I have a tribal-wars like browsergame (based on open source devana) and want to have some changes in it where I got stuck. Language is in german, but should be no problem.
IS: sent troops (for attack, raid, dispatch) are not counting to popcap until they return. (so users can send troops away, popcap goes down, they can build more till troops come back)
WANT TO: count them to popcap, not regarding where they are (of course in case of lost battle they should be deleted)
IS: reinforcements troops sent to other towns are also not counted to popcap, and when they arrive, they belong to the other town
WANT TO: count them as popcap, belong to the hometown and the possibility to bring them back home (must be possible on booth sides!) So there should be on the army page an overview of all reinforcements troops in other towns (with the option to call them home), and also there should be an overview of all reinforcements from foreign towns with the option to send them back
IS: click on a town on the map redirects to player profile.
WANT TO: on klick on a town open a tooltip or overlay or a little menu on top of map or something where to choose: attack town, write message, profile. (already coded on newest open source release, but cant implement it...)
There seems to be a bug raiding enemy towns: sometimes troops come without any looted or only partially resources home, but there are still Resources left in enemy town.
“Forgot password” is not that what it should be:
IS: just a link on loginpage where the system sends an email to the user
WANT TO: a popup or a new page where user can enter mail or username to receive new password
there should also be an option if you are in an alliance and have no alliance building yet, you can quit the alliance...
time of sent troops are also incorrect sometimes. you have to go to overview, then back to town and then they are correct...
also there should be a little edit in colonizing:
now there are 10 colonists needed for creating a town.
if you want to make another one it should be 100 then 200 then 300 but not more than 1000
empty colonies should be attackable. so if a user abandon his colony it should not be possible to aquire it, instead it should be handled as a normal npc town (user: VERLASSEN) and can be raided (so population has to be set to 122, and town has to remain active).
no graphics or language needed. can change by myself...
code should be documented in files what you change and a little info of what files you have changed should be provided.
you can check it at [login to view URL]
thank you for reading :-)
