Hello, I am looking to build a website that aggregates auction data (like a niche [[login to view URL]][1] but for auctions) from all the major auction websites for auto salvage in the UK. These auction websites include six websites, one of which is [[login to view URL]][2]. The other five website details will be given later. Thanks for reading ??" please let me know what you can do on this! ## Deliverables Full detail: Hello, I am looking to build a website that aggregates auction data (like a niche [login to view URL]) from all the major auction websites for auto salvage in the UK. There are six of these websites to be scraped, one of which is [login to view URL] - details of the other five websites will be given on acceptance of the coder's bid. The main features of the website I would like to build are: 1) A section showing a list of all salvage vehicles currently at auction on all the salvage auction sites mentioned above (through scraping data from these sites) 2) A section with historic, searchable data of ending auction prices for salvage vehicles sold on the sites above (data to be obtained through regular scraping of the data on these websites) 3) A guide/instructions section ??" basic text/image content 4) The website needs to be set-up so that only registered members who have signed up to a paid monthly subscription can view all the data. Non-registered members will only be able to see some data I also need you to do the design (look and feel) of the site and its pages. I am looking for something crisp and clean, in the style of [login to view URL] or ebay. I will provide a logo at a later stage, but please propose something on other design elements. Each of the features in more detail: * 1) A section showing a list of all salvage vehicles currently at auction on all the salvage auction sites mentioned above (through scraping data from these sites):* When a user arrives on the page for this section, as the page refreshes it needs to create a list of all current auctions across all the main salvage sites. This list should show the following data for each auction listed (all scraped from the source website): -A thumbnail image of the vehicle from the source site -Vehicle make -Vehicle model -Vehicle year of manufacture -Vehicle registration number (if available; last three digits need to replaced with stars) -Vehicle ‘salvage category’ -Current bid in £ -Auction end-time and date -Time remaining If a user clicks on one of the auctions listed they should be taken through to the source website and page hosting the original auction. *2) A section with historic, searchable data of ending auction prices for salvage vehicles sold on the sites above (data to be obtained through regular scraping of the data on these websites:* I need you to find a way so that the website to be built is constantly recording the auction details and end-prices of auctions as they close on all of the source auction websites. Please propose how to do this. The closing auction details need to be recorded in a database that will be searchable by the user. It will function as a historic guide to auction prices and what to pay. The closing auction data that need to be captured are: -A thumbnail image of the vehicle from the source site -Vehicle make -Vehicle model -Vehicle year of manufacture -Vehicle engine size -Vehicle fuel type -Vehicle body type -Vehicle transmission type (manual/automatic, etc.) -Vehicle mileage -Vehicle registration number (if available; last three digits need to replaced with stars) -Vehicle ‘salvage category’ -Vehicle damage description (if available) -Auction close price in £ -Auction end-date *3) A guide/instructions section ??" basic text/image content:* Content for this will be supplied by me at a later stage. *4) The website needs to be set-up so that only registered members who have signed up to a paid monthly subscription can view all the data. Non-registered members will only be able to see some data:* A paid subscription system needs to be integrated in to the website to register members and take their payment for use of the site. I would like this system to take an automatic payment every month until the user switches the subscription off. I was thinking Paypal would be appropriate for this, but am open to suggestions from you on other options? When paid members are logged in to the website they should be able to view all data. When users are viewing the website but are not logged in, they should only be able to view: -Vehicle thumbnail images -Vehicle make data -Vehicle model data -Auction end-time -Auction end-date In place of other data there should be messages instructing people to register to view all vehicle data. Thanks for reading ??" please let me know what you can do on this!
