This project involves the creation of a popunder on the website [login to view URL] that will allow an mp3 file to autoplay. The popunder should play the mp3 on load and have buttons that enable the mp3 to be stopped or resumed, or have the popunder closed altogether. This popunder is expected to persist as the surfer clicks on links in the website, and be compatible with IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Safari. Popunder should not conflict with the Joomla content management system that is currently in place on the domain or any of its Javascript features. Project deliverables and QA parameters will be explicitly defined in the complete project details. ## Deliverables The main goal of this project 'mp3 solution' is to create a separate instance (popunder) of the browser to play the MP3. As far as design, we are looking for something simple and small (200x300), with rounded edges and possibly partially transparent (30-40%). The reason this is necessary is because when surfers click on links in a Joomla designed website such as this one, the entire page is refreshed, meaning that the music restarts every time the page is refreshed. Our intention is to have the 'mp3 solution' play music uninterrupted as the surfer browses through pages. Our intention is also to give the surfer the control to turn off the music if they need to, because some of the pages on our website have video which would be inaudible if there were music playing in the background. The final 'mp3 solution' should not conflict with any of the javascript, ajax, flash, and lightbox features that are already working on the website and thorough testing of all links and features in all 4 browsers will be conducted prior to project approval. Regardless of the technology used for the 'mp3 solution', (Javascript, ajax, etc.), page load time should not be significantly affected. Most MP3 embedding techniques allow for autoplay and buffering after page load, so the entire mp3 file doesn't have to be loaded for the page to load. The order in which js files are executed may help achieve the seamless integration we are looking for, so if the developer chooses to alter the current order of .js files, we would like some documentation to accompany those and any other changes to the existing website configuration as a result of implementation of the 'mp3 solution'. Developer will be given FTP access as well as Joomla administrator access to the website, and provided with the sample mp3 file to play. Deliverables include the following: 1) All necessary files that comprise the 'mp3 solution' to upload to the server (.html, .php, .js, etc.) 2) A description of which directories to upload the files into, permissions, upload type (ASCII, binary) and any other attributes which affect the performance of the files. 3) An explanation of the changes made to existing files on the server or the joomla cms as a result of implementation of the 'mp3 solution', particularly the order in which .js files are executed if that is the technology the developer chooses to use. 4) An explanation of how to swap out the .mp3 file for a different .mp3 file and where to upload the .mp3 files relative to the files that are part of the solution. 5) The popunder should be a 200x300 box without navigation, rounded edges, transparent 30-40%, with 3 buttons: play, stop, exit
