? ? ? We'd like to have a website, for Iranians who have lost a loved one. People should be able to enter some information about the deceased (name,? date of birth, place of birth, date of death and place of death, and some keywords),? upload a picture and submit it. Once we receive the data, we should be able to 'approve' or 'reject' it. The deceased person's data then would appear on a template, along with a guestbook. The guestbook needs to be able to accept English, AND Farsi scripts. The guestbook comments would be posted, once approved by us. ? ? ? ? A few different templates need to be available, available to us, only, where we can upload more than one picture and be able to upload a background music. ## Deliverables * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Friday Aug 22, 2008 1:15:54 PM: Thank you for your interest in doing this project. This is a very unique project since we have not seen anything quite like we anticipate, anywhere on the web. Please be mindful of what we are asking for in reviewing this project: 1)Since it would be free for most people, we are expecting the data base to grow very fast, very quick. The homepage needs to have a "men" sign and a "women" sign(The design of the homepage is also very important. It needs to be done very professionally, very tasteful for people to want to put the picture of their loved ones there). 2) As a visitor to the site, once in the men's page( or women's page)one needs to see a listing of A-Z. Everyone with a last name starting with "A", under "A", with last name of "B" under "B",...etc. 3) The basic information about the deseased is: Name, date of birth(year only), place of birth(this would be a drop down menu, with the names of about 50 cities in Iran, in addition to a spot to fill in, in case they are born somewhere else), date of death (year only), and place of death(this would be mostly in US., one of the 50 states, preferably with the name of the city). If outside US, a country would suffice. 4) The visitor needs to be able to look for a deceased by name, by place of birth, place of death, date of birth, and date of death. So if they go to women's section, and type "Dallas, Texas", or just "Texas", the names of all women who died in Dallas, or Texas, should come up. 5)If a visitor is filling out the form to have his dead relative's listed, he should fill out all the info regarding the deceased, give his own name and email address, say "the deceased is my father/mother/aunt/uncle/grandfather/grandmother/other relative/friend/other". Another feature we'd like to ask visitors is "Keyword". If the visitor's relative was in the 'military' and was also an avid 'soccer player', we'd like for him to be able to add "military" and "soccer" to the keywords. If any other visitor wants to see the deceased who were affiliated with the military, can do a search under keyword "military", and get the listing of all those who served in the military. 6)The template offered to visitors should have a spot for one picture, the basic information, and space for a paragraph or two (or maybe 300 words), and the registrar's name and email address. They should be able to pick one from several designs and colors. 7) Then there is the paid registry( for which we have not found a good name yet). There, they submit the basic information, more than one picture could be submitted and we pick a background music for their loved one's page. 8) Every deceased person is listed, and if their name clicked, his or her page comes up. Most would be free and plain, some paid and fancier, with music. 9) Every paid person gets a guestbook. Visitors should be able to leave comments on the guestbook in English, as well as in Farsi. This is very important. 10) In the brief description of the deceased , presented by the relative, the text in Farsi needs to be enabled as well. I thank you for your interest in this project and I hope the above explanation has helped you get a better understanding of what we are looking for. Thank You Cameron
