What I need is a simple page that takes user generated text information about books and saves it to a MySQL database. The information the user will enter for each entry includes title, publication date, publisher, genre, a URL, and five miscellaneous fields. The table(s) need to be normalized and professional (e.g., 1NF, 2NF, 3NF). For each entry into the database I also need the IP address of the poster and the time\date stamp of the posting saved with it. For the user input page there should be multiple sets of input fields so the user can enter up to five books for each posting. For the error checking the user doesn't have to use all five book entries but for each book the user enters he or she has to complete all the data entry fields except for the miscellaneous ones. Also the data should be passed between postings so the user doesn't lose data if there's an error ("sticky" forms). The perl code for the input fields should be hard coded once and then reprinted the number of times specified that way if we need to add or delete fields we need to do it only once. Also I need an accompanying display page that allows the user to see all the book titles that were entered according to the genre that the user selected with a standard HTML drop down menu. The display page should be coded so that when you click on a title in the list you see the specific details of the title. You are allowed to use two modules: CGI and DBI. Everything else has to be hard coded. No other modules and no JavaScript please. You don't nee-d to install the database; you can use your own local testing computer and send me the SQL statements for creating the database. I am fairly price sensitive but if I like your work I'll have other assignments for you in the future. Thanks for your bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Perl MySQL CGI
