We are building a tool for PR Professionals & Journalists to better communicate. The website will include the functionality below.
A) 2 sign-up forms.
1) The first form is for PR Professionals subscribe to our email newsletter. The form will include the following fields:
*Full Name
*Email Address
*Country (Drop down menu)
If the user selects the US or Canada, they will be added to our email list. If they select any other country, they will be informed upon clicking “subscribe” that they have been put on a waiting list for when our service is available outside of North America.
2) The second form is for Journalists who need help with stories they are working on. The form will include the following fields:
*Full Name,
*Title
*Media Outlet
*Story Topic (80 characters or less)
*Requirements (800 characters or less)
*Deadline Date (Select from calendar)
*Time + Timezone
B) Anonymous email system
This should be an existing tool, not something that we need you to build.
Once we have information submitted in form #2 (for journalists), we will be tweeting and emailing it out. We need a way to automatically turn the journalists email to an anonymous and temporary one which is tied to the deadline date of the story.
C) Twitter Automatic Feed
We would like to automate this process by having the Journalist requests be shortened and posted on our Twitter and other social networks.
D) Email Automatic Feed
We need a method for automatically putting Journalist requests into email blasts.
E) Easy to update and edit content
We would like to be able to change copy and add pages easily
F) Can handle lots of traffic
We would like to be able to handle many users using the site simultaneously.
G) Payment system
We need an existing system, not something proprietary.
H) Infinite scroll
We need a website that explains all the content in 1 page and lets users easily jump to the content they need, forms open up etc.
