We are an International Trade Development company based in Miami, USA seeking detail oriented few senior level web developers and graphic designers for our newly opened office in KHILKHET, DHAKA, BANGLADESH. You must be willing to work from our Dhaka office.
DESCRIPTION
The Web Developer is responsible for the development and design of major and minor Web applications and components for internal and external users. This position will design, develop, test and deliver web sites, applications and components. Enhancements and defect resolution will be required on an ongoing basis. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to ensure the success of the projects. The Web Developer will have the ability to create web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, production, and deployment stages. They will be required to have experience in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various web services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide development, design, testing and delivery of system web sites, applications and components. Analyze the performance of system web sites, and provide recommendations and constraints. Analyze system web site logs for trends and anomalies.
Research trends and solutions in open source communities.
Design enhancements and manage defect resolution on an ongoing basis.
Utilize best practices and design methods to ensure the success of all projects.
Create web applications and components from the requirements stage through design, production, and deployment stages.
Development and implementation of confidential and sensitive correspondence from the Superintendent, including but not limited to correspondence related to collective bargaining.
Manage special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Development or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Have a minimum of 5 years of web development experience.
Experience with:
front-end and back-end development using agile design and development methodologies.
seamless integration of front- to back-end functionality.
Practical experience in:
front-end development using HTML5, JavaScript, & CSS.
back-end development and system administration using PHP, SQL, Apache, and Linux Server environments.
building and maintaining Drupal modules, WordPress plugins, and/or Moodle modules.
open source tools and projects.
Solid understanding of content strategy, information architecture, and user experience best practices for maximizing usability.
Solid understanding of content management systems, web-publishing workflows, and content metadata.
Competent in providing implementation recommendations and constraints.
Excellent presentation and training skills.
SALARY
