I need a webpage which is able to retrieve a list of folders or files from a website folder and populate a drop-down list and display it on my website. I have created a semi-static webpage of what I need at www.1stphotobooth.com. Check it out and tell me what you think. Thanks.
**Just to be clear I will include what I have put on my mock-up webpage:**
I have written some photobooth software which will automatically upload to this website, to a folder. The path of the folder is determined by the country, city, booth, etc...
A database would seem the obvious choice for this website BUT it would not suit the dynamic updating nature of the photo booth software. A standard DOS ?€œfolders-<wbr />within-<wbr />folders?€ method must be used. (See diagram below on website)
**If the ?€œCountry?€ is changed, the ?€œCity/Town?€ list is refreshed. Likewise if the ?€œCity/Town?€ changes, then ?€œBooth BRAND?€ list is refreshed. And if the ?€œBooth Brand?€ changes, then the ?€œBooth ID?€ list is refreshed.**
Event folders are created remotely by the photo booth software and therefore the event drop-<wbr />down list should also be populated/refreshed each time the ?€œBooth ID?€ is changed.
Photographs are uploaded, as they are taken, into a selected ?€œEvent?€ folder as jpeg images. The photo list must be refresh depending on what image files are in the folder at the time.
**The photo list can also be shortened by selecting a date.**
The ?€œImage Path?€ is displayed in the standard DOS format.
The ?€œDownload?€, ?€œEmail?€ and ?€œRemove?€ buttons are straight forward.
