A medium project for joining home owners and contractors

Hello, I would like to build a website that would enable home owners browse through available services that could be offered to their premises, choose some and get contacted with the contractors that are able to do the job. The major website areas are: 1. **Home owners area** * _Find contractors area _This is the main website frontend. Here users can view the available services that can be performed, choose some and send an order. Contractors that are signed up into the system will immediately receive a notification over email and will be able to respond to a user if they ae interested, so that he(she) could see (on the website) who is able to do the job. *example: a site user wants to have a skylight made in their roof. He(she) narrows their wish by going the following workflow: Roofing->Skylights->Install Skylight->Choose skylight type and the desired timespan->review and confirm* * _Contract management area_ <!-- --> 1. **Contractor area** * _Manage contracts_ 2. **Site administrator area** * _Manage users_ * _Notifications area _This area will enable the administrator to send notifications to all or specific groups of users. * _Info resource management _Add, modify or delete information resources from the website, such as articles, ads, simple media content, such as flash, etc * _Find contractors workflow management _This is the place where the site administrator can create new service types for user to choose from, as well as modify the existing workflows, described in 1.1 Besides this major areas, the website should have an authentication (forgotten password retrieval, profile management etc, also the ability to upload personal photos), etc. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The project needs to be built with ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) and MSSQL as DBMS. The website should look OK nad the same in IE 5.0+, Netscape, Firefox (this list is subject to change)
