add oscommerce to my joomla site and avoid need to account registration

i have a joomla site that needs to have oscommerce implemented into it. is it possible that i don't have to have the customers register on the site, they can order products without registering for an account. if they have to register for an account, i wish they can use the main site's joomla registration for their oscommerce shopping experience. i have tried using virtuemart in the past and am not happy with it. when users would go to checkout, they would then be notified they needed an account, then when they signed up for an account, the shopping cart was empty and they had to start fresh on the site...i can't have this. i prefer the users to not have to sign up for an account, but if they have to, i want it to be the smoothest transaction possible. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
