I'm currently running a vbulletin board with subscriptions.
This is the way I have it setup:
I have two main user types:
Registered
Senior Members - Users with over 100 posts and been a member over 30 days.
I move users from Registered to Senior Member via promotions in vbulletin.
Then I added a subscription which gives the users rights to an avatar and other special feature. The problem occurred with a special forum that required the user to be a Paid Member, have a 100 post and a member for 30 days. So to do this I created another usergroup named:
Paid Senior Members.
So when they buy a subscription they are put into a group called "Paid Members" and then via a promotion they are moved to "Senior Paid Members" when they reach the 30 days and 100 posts.
So the problem is that when their paid subscription is over the users are removed from the Senior Member usergroup but not the Paid Senior Member.
So I would like a cron job that will search for users who are in the Paid Senior Member group but not in the Paid Members group, when it finds these users remove them from the Paid Senior Member.
I hope this makes since.
Thanks,
Todd
