The attached zip file is the installation of a PHP based Craigslist Search System. It works to the extent that you can create an account, set up a search (which is emailed to the email address on account), edit the account, delete searches, edit a search, and perform searches. The email that is sent is supposed to find all relevant posts to the search, return them with title and first 150 char's of the body, and a link to the post on craigslist. It has a few problems and I want to add on to it some: Fixes: 1. When you go into edit search, and click "search now" to perform an immediate search the search is not completed. 2. In edit search page, the "Save" button reads "edit" it should say Save. 3. The [url removed, login to view] script is not querying title and body fields of the craigslist posts, on the title. 4. The email that is sent doesn't contain the url of the post only the category and post id, it also doesn't contain the body of the post. 5. I can go into edit profile, or edit search, click log out, and the edit forms are still in the container cell - they shouldn't be. 6. Add checkbox in search criteria for only finding posts with an image. 7. If I am logged in the "new membership" link in the top nav should not be visible. 8. Password and Username are not security sensitive at all, require each to be at least 6 characters, require password to contain numbers and letters. 9. Verify the search is not returning listings that were already found in previous searches. Update: 1. I want the create/edit search form to all me to add multiple cities to the search.
