Consult - Video Sharing Website(repost)

Consultation - How to build a video sharing website using Rent-A-coder. Write a report which outlines the available coder tools, libraries, open-source and hosting providers. Describe the pros and cons on different options currently available. I'm not asking for a book, or instructions on how to do it, just a short letter from somone who knows a lot about video sharing websites on what our options are. We want to design this site around Rent-a-Coder outsourcing, however we understand that there are a wide range of options such as simply creating a profile on [login to view URL], having the site hosted by a white label provider under a revenue sharing agreement, to using open source tools and hosting it in our data center, to writing the whole thing from scratch. We would like advice on which of these options would be best, what other options there are, and what the pros and cons are of each. This will help us to better formulate the next bid request, to build it. PS. We cannot publicly disclose the purpose of the video sharing site, but that is not necessary initially, since what we are looking to build would simply be a generic clone of youtube or liveleak or any other popular video sharing site. I can say that this is site would be expected to carry a great deal of traffic, and have peaks, due to television advertising. ## Deliverables A written report which lists the various methods of creating a video sharing site, along with the pros and cons of each method. We would then select the method we prefer, and create a rent-a-coder bid based on this reccommendation. For example, we are currently working on another rent-a-coder project called My247Call.com. We knew from experience exactly what it would take to build it. We knew about how much to pay, and what platform it should be on.
