A Program to Verify Domains on a Windows Nameserver Weekly

We have 2 windows nameservers with about 1000 domain names - various .coms, .nets .orgs that need to be verified. We run two name servers [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] We have many old records where we may or may not be the responsible registrar and we may not manage the DNS for the domain anymore as customers come and go. We'd like to clean up our windows dns files and delete all the old dns data zone files. So we're looking for someone to write some sort of script that will go through one by one each of the 1000 or so names, and do a whois lookup for the list and list what the dns servers are for that domain and what the mx and a records are for each of the domains. Ideally the program will generate a list of domain names that can be deleted from our name servers because we are no longer active. I would also like and asp page where I could look at the information for selected zones. Once we have the list we will delete the old zone files that we don't need any more. So we need a program to generate the list of bad names (in other words names where the dns servers are set to something other than ours) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Any coding platform of your choosing. Currently on 2003 servers with both mysql and msql2005.
