Custom shopping cart

Hi, I am looking to have built a state of the art shopping cart that has most advanced features on the internet today. My site is already built and existing for many years which has lots of traffic and generates sales on a daily basis... However, I use a third party template shopping cart, which is quite limited at this point and would like to bring my site to a much more advanced level. I did all best possible customization around it but still I feel that's far from today's demand. It should be integrated perfectly with my existing site. Everything is already in place and the new cart shouldn't be much more different in appearance except with many more advanced features than it is right now. Important to consider: Best and easy communication with the programmer anytime (live, e-mail, phone etc..) Best technical support after it's built. Cannot afford any delays if problems occur.
