Finishing New Features Code
We have a small project that needs to be finished. We are adding features to the current code and it is approximately 95% finished. Our current programmer is not able to finish the project, but will be available to answer questions about the code. Not all items are needed at once. We actually need several item as soon as possible. Here's a list of the items needed first update:
1. Mulitrates and added rate period
2. Xcharge Functionality and Integration into both programs
3. We would like any items that are easy work to becoming functional to be included in the first round of updates, but they are really not necessary.
3. Barcode Scanner
Here's a detailed description of the current software and of our project:
There are two Visual Basic (VB6) programs use Access databases that work together. Billiard Business Solutions (BBS) and Sales Tracker POS work together where sales can be added to a customer's bill so that they only have to pay one time during a visit to a pool room/bar/restaurant.
There are two scripts that require Win XP SP2 compatibility mode and administrator rights during installation; [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]
Once installed, you should see a Billiard Business Solutions directory in Program Files (x86) directory.
There are 3 total applications, Sales Tracker POS, Billiard Business Solutions, and a simple Database Repair.
Some features that need added/repaired only apply to one program and others apply to both programs. Most items have been started and in some case completed by our previous coder. He is not able to finish the project but will be available to have discussion about the work he performed and the current source code.
Additionally, [url removed, login to view] was developed in .Net to perform the Xcharge functionality.
Please see attachment for details of the features and their current percentage of completion.
