Chat Room (.NET)

we need a full working chat room in .NET. It needs to integrate smoothly with our MSSQL database, where it would fetch a customer’s profile information and username. There is no sign-up or login-process in order to access the chat room – this will be handled by us passing the username in the link when a user clicks the “chat room”-tab in our client software. This project has most of its ideas from [login to view URL] – we would like to have something similar, although, we will break it down to what we need and not need when we have found a winner for the bid. Please note that the chat room will be integrated into our client software, thus means that we do not want it developed in Java or Flash. If you place a bid please be aware that you need experience in these types of projects, preferably if you already have something done that you can work from – it is a big bonus if you can send a PM that showcases any chat rooms you have done in the past when placing your bid. Features (users) 1. {View other chat-users profiles. when clicking a user in the user list you get the following options: View profile Private chat – which would open a private chat between these users in a new tab. Ignore/un-ignore Invite to channel View profile} 2. Open a private chat between other users. 3. Chat history – Possibility to see what has previously been discussed in the chat room when someone joins it. 4. Ability to create private/public rooms and password protect these. The creator of the room can kick users out of his own channel. 5. Ignore/un-ignore users 6. View the channel list Features (admins) 1. Set channel topics 2. Send announcements in all channels (eg. For important announcements) 3. {Create rooms with following options: name of the room, description, option to password protect and if the channel should be visible/invisible to users, mark as 'default room' where the user would auto-join this room when entering the chat room} 4. Move users between rooms 5. Warn users with a reason 6. Suspend users from using the chat (reason+bantime) 7. Joining private rooms without having to enter the password (passwords for rooms should be visible to the admins) 8. Word filtering (so we can add words that are filtered out from the chat)
