Customize wordpress site

I need to customize a wordpress site to reflect a comp I was given by the client. This is and add on blog to an existing website ([login to view URL]). I used a theme that is fairly similar called Blissful Blog ([login to view URL]) and managed to get the header to look the same. However I need it to look exactly like the comp. The main thing is that the homepage (blogroll) needs to have a left sidebar. By default the theme doesn't have a sidebar on the blog page. It does have a sidebar on other pages... I will need this switched to the left and to look the same. Here is where the new blog resides ([login to view URL]) and this is an example of another page ([login to view URL]).
