Android App design & development

The project is to design and build a mobile (Android) app. The scope of the application is to provide a portal for admin users to upload images via mobile phone (android) into groups which multiple users have access to. The entire system should be composed of at least 4 user levels i.e. Super User, Admin, General User and Guest. Product functions includes: • Allow admin users to post images to a group. Ie. Uploading from the device gallery or “take and upload” format. Other elements of posting including post description, mentioning people and adding tags. • Allow the app to use the mobile phone’s camera and geolocation feature • Allow super users to assign general and admin users to a group. • Super admins should be able to generate reports, manage accounts and add/delete users/groups/images etc. • Allow visitors or guests to register a new ‘general user’ account and create a group or join a group. • Visitors can search for other users using their names / Facebook handles and request to join a group that user is in. • Allow login / registration via e-mail, mobile phone or social… • Allow general users to make in-app purchases so payment gateway / processing is required • The app should have a member’s profile page which lists the members details, associated groups, their nickname, avatar, small description and general information. • The app should allow users to edit, add and remove information in one click. • The member profile page should also show in-app purchase history • Group members should be able to interact together ie. Add messaging, liking, commenting and following services. • Users can be assigned to multiple groups • Group members should have access (edit rights) to a group calendar. • Group page should list the group members • Group calendar should be editable to include anniversaries / new events (group members can add/ delete/ amend events). Calendar reminder alerts required. • App data to be stored in database with regular back-ups. • App should be able to operate offline and update as and when a user is back online. • The App should allow users to invite new users to a group eg… share group link via email / Facebook / WhatsApp so users can share posts and invite friends. • Group users can social share images / videos that belong to that group and these should be arranged in albums. • Each album should have a multiple data fields eg. Name of Album, Location, Date, Description. • Users can raise an alert (contact admin / notify admin via help button) of any issues eg. Abuse or inappropriate behaviour. • Image customization should be possible (eg. Cropping, adjusting light etc) • Enable push notifications • Design to include best UX design principles and maintain a minimalist / clean front-end • Privacy – ensure user and group data is strictly private • Design with scalability and ease of management in mind. • Also considering the option to develop an accompanying iOS app. Please note that we will need to see / test previous apps you have built Many thanks and good luck with the bidding
