Construction Company is looking for a universal iOS app (iPhone & iPad). Project may be broken up into 3 phases depending on the bids for each phase, so when submitting your bid please include the following:
1. Duration for EACH phase of the project.
2. Cost for EACH phase of the project.
3. Ability to do all phases of the project (including mySQL).
I've listed it as a very small project since each phase if done separately could be considered a small project. If bidding for the full project, please bid according to the full cost of the project.
Here are some specifics for the project:
PHASE 1 will essentially be a simple sales tool for the construction company and will include the following features:
--Calculator 1: potential client will input data into several fields such as square footage of house, number of windows, current heating bill, etc. and the calculator will compute what their potential savings will be per year & per month.
--Calculator 2: potential client will input data into several fields such as house cost/value, what type of job it will be (windows only, siding only, doors only, etc), and the calculator will compute what the increased value of their house will be compared to cost of the project.
--Potential client can snap a picture of what they would like to have repaired and email it to the business all from within the app. This picture should include a geotag so the company can send a sales rep out to their address (the "Allow app to use my location feature" will have to pop up for client to give permissions)
PHASE 2 will be the social media aspects of the app and will include the following features:
--Social media sharing options on FB, Twitter, and/or Google+ (please specify in your bid which options you can include)
--Option for potential clients to click on "view previous construction projects". This option will find the users current location and then pull from a database (mySQL?) of existing projects that have been done and display a list of the projects by closest proximity to the potential client's current location. They can then click on one of the addresses and it will display it in google maps. (again, the "Allow app to use my location feature" will have to pop up for client to give permissions)
PHASE 3 will be a portal for current clients and will include the following features:
--User Login
--Display of current project status (materials ordered, in-progress, painting, etc.)
--Links to pics/videos of project
--Copy of the signed contract
--Schedule/timeline of events
This entire system could be handled from a database to pull and display images (such as an image for when "materials ordered" should be displayed). It will also need either a web admin system, or an admin app for selecting what stage each construction project is at, updating the timeline/schedule of events, etc.
