An android-based car-hiring app

This is an app that is based on the Uber or Hailo taxi apps but contextualized for the african market. It will cater to hailing what we call Bajaj's (or rickshaws) and taxis as well as pre-scheduling pick ups. The key with this app is that it will allow the customer to see the actual vehicle number and distance/duration of the driver. There will be a customer interface as well as a driver interface to this app. Must be able to capture robust stats as per specs. Developer must be able to handle both back end and interface development - designer will be provided. There is a user journey already developed for this project and will be shared with the selected developer. The developer will be required to provide a functional spec before project commences. This is a project that will be first deployed in the market in a beta phase. Fast iterations are preferred with the goal of having the product in the market within 1 month. All project files and source code will be availed and be the property of the company. As the product develops and scales preference would be to work with the original developer so future work opportunity exists.
