We need someone with a good understanding of the Android RIL API to help us develop a quick ADB script or command to change the setting CDMA_SUBSCRIPTION to NV only from RUIM Only. We need this to first be functional on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. Typically, we are able to change this setting on Qualcomm based handsets thru AT commands, and are able to get the handset to provision from the NV (non-volatile) memory instead of the RUIM card. However, the Galaxy nexus, and several other newer phones have Via Telecom chipsets, and we are not able to change this setting. From the small amount of research I was able to do, I undestand this setting may be able to be changed via ADB, ADB shell, etc. Ultimately, we would also like to develop a simple windows based program that could execute this script.
