I am a passionate web developer that likes to attract projects witch main focus is quality and performance. I take very good pride of my work and I always want to deliver the best quality possible. I am very organized and I like using different tools to help me with that. Most of the applications that I use to help me organize are free. I used to work for companies where things like code reviews and code refactoring to improve speed and code performance were encouraged. I think is important to write clean and well formatted code. I think commenting the code shouldn't be something optional unless your code is self explanatory. Sticking to small rules like this may however increase your development time, but will decrease 10 times your testing, bug-fixing and maintenance after. Also will give you the satisfaction that you did something right, you did something that makes you proud, that makes you better.
Still, I am also a person that looks for balance. I think life gives us the freedom to take our own decisions and my decision is to try my best to do things in a balanced way, to find the middle solution that makes things almost perfect.
Imagine you have a triangle with price, quality and speed.
When engaging into a project usually the clients want quality and want speed.
I am always happy when I hear that clients want quality but the thing that I always have to explain is that speed has an impact on quality and both together have an impact on price.
