I have a dedicated server with 64bit raw centos installed. I need the server hardened, I need a firewall software to protect the server. I will use the server as an atlassian project management softwaretools, and also other saas. I also want to use the server as a backup station for a couple of my laptops, they are windows based, and I want it as a backup server for my web vps servers. So the tasks are the following: 1. Set up the centos with security measures to good hardening standards, and hopefully with some kind of alterting when pentesting is discovered. 2. Install a firewall software. 3. Install a backup solution that could take automatic syncronised backups of my windows based laptops(the software on my computer needs to detect changes and sync, something similar to sugarsync). 4. Install a backup solution that could take backups daily or hourly of the webservers, the webservers are dedicated servers and vps, all running centos. 5. Please let me know what other good stuff I can utilize my dedicated server to make my digital life easier and safer. :) Please state the duration of the task, and please let me know background information about your experience in the field. Please note this could be the start of a long term business relationship as my linux server go-to-guy.
