I ask your help to fix the annoying USB problems that I'm encountering while I'm trying to configure Linux on the BeagleBoard [login to view URL] bought from Special Computing. The problems are related to the USB ports and/or devices attached to the BeagleBoard through the HUB. I've tried two different kinds of HUB : the shintek HUB (code FHUB401,model 4 PORTS HUB USB MINI, RUBBER COATED) : [login to view URL] and the ednet HUB : [login to view URL],80,2&artnr=85132 Problems arise when I try to boot the BeagleBoard with the HUB and the devices (mouse, keyboard) attached, because randomly it reboots. Sometime Linux is able to boot properly, but then a lot of errors make very hard for me to continue working. The errors gone away if I make the boot of the BeagleBoard without any USB device attached. I attach the HUB through an USB Mini-A to USB A Female OTG Cable. Briefly, this is the procedure followed to install Ubuntu on the SD card : wget [login to view URL] tar xJf [login to view URL] cd ubuntu-11.04-r0-minimal-armel sudo ./[login to view URL] --mmc /dev/sdX --uboot beagle This is a screenshot that shows what happens before the Beagle Board was able to boot : [login to view URL]@N03/5756028742/in/photostream [login to view URL]@N03/5756206848/in/photostream Please note that I'm connected to the BeagleBoard through a serial connection. If you are experienced with this let me know,I can setup a SSH account for you. Thanks.
