CASINO - Desktop Application

We, the owners of a large global casino chain, want to expand our reach to the PC crowd. We aren't interested in a simple website though, we want a full desktop application that our clients can run! Clients need to have the ability to choose from a selection of games, place bets and gamble away their money! Also, since new games come out rather frequently, adding new games for clients to play should be a breeze! Features Based on the above Description, this project requires both a Server and a Client application to be written. Additionally, there need to be games written. Each game should be it's own module and should follow a defined Game interface so adding or removing games won't require rewriting portions of your game engine. Here's a quick breakdown of the different features that are required: Server Allow multiple clients at the same time. Allow multiple / different games to be played at the same time (only one-per-client at any given time) Should manage the execution of the games. Clients should be identified users Client Displays a styled User Interface for the player (i.e. not a command-line application) Should prompt the user to identify themselves Should show a list of available games to play and what the current player's money/balance is The UI should update to display a nice visual interface of the current game being played Games All games should be individual modules Casino Games to implement: Poker: Texas Hold'em Blackjack Slot Machine Users The server should maintain a database of users and their current money/balance Key Skill Demonstrations Threading (definitely within the server; possibly within the client) UI development Modular development User Session management Multi-variable logic programming
