I am very good at java programming. I can do this program very easily. It is a rather simple project. I have plenty of practice with Java. Perhaps, you would like it in an applet? I allow a lot of customization I have taken a complete college semester in java and have read many textbooks and manuals. I am comfortably in OOP and have written many programs in java including a side-scrolling game.
