PRODUCT: We have a unique software as a service product about to launch in the PR / Marketing Space. 18 months and about $100k later we have built an amazing system that allows people to identify the most influential and relevant blogs in a given category. This is complete with full information on the blogs including traffic, twitter, facebook, email, phone, etc. contact info and campaign tools to build contact lists. There is also a private forum for industry insiders, and a selection of videos and training materials so folks can be up to speed on the best way to engage the blogosphere. It was built by a successful we Web 2.0 Publicity Expert named to the Top 25 Bloggers in the World by TIME Magazine and CNN for 2009. A single user subscription to the product is $1,997 / year and comes with a dedicated support team to assist in building lists, researching the most relevant blogs, and helping fill in the gaps if for some reason we are missing something from our database. You can see the beta of the product at [login to view URL] IDEAL CUSTOMER: PR Firms Publicists In-house PR Departments Marketing Folks Start-Ups Media Companies (who want increased exposure for their stories) University Communications Departments Authors (self published) Entrepreneurs Internet Marketers RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with us to create whatever sales & marketing tools you need (we can create emails, PDFs, VIDEO, etc) Building a prospect database (we have about 5,000 cold leads you can use) Managing leads, and closing sales from open to close. COMPENSATION: We will be paying up to ~ 51% commission ($1,000) for each paying subscriber that joins our service. We are looking for an aggressive and professional sales individual / team (or teams) to help market and sell this product and build our first run user base to ~ 500 users. This means we are budgeting a max payment of $500,000 for the right partner (or this will be broken up between a few partners). Potential for recurring revenue for customer maintenance may be possible as well. REQUIREMENTS: You should be experienced in business to business sales, preferable in the PR industry and / or contact database sales.
