Childrens Book Series
$15-25 AUD / hour
I have a small series of children's books that I have written and would like to self publish, possibly as ebooks for and then for print. The books include 2 main characters (children a boy and a girl) I have a pre-conceived idea of what they look like (based on real persons) and otherwise the rest of the creative process is in the hands of the illustrator. Many of the books include animals and plants (Eg. A pumpkin tree, an angry bull, plum trees, fruit trees... climbing trees, New Zealand Bush scenes, goats, sheep, horses, chickens, cows) So a knowledge of the NZ landscape will be advantageous. This is my first time exploring the possibility of publishing my stories, and I'm not certain what kind of arrangement will suit, but I am willing to negotiate.
