Hello, Most MVC frameworks have extensive features and primarily provide a quicker development and easier ramp up time for new developers/teams experienced on the framework. These come at the cost of performance. We have our own MVC frameworks (one with OOP and the other without), which we use on all our projects as the starting point. Using a custom framework, we are able to tweak it to the requirements of the project, cutting out features not needed and adding new features so as to limit the footprint to the scope at hand.
