Hi there, I have created a website using a Squarespace "Hudson" template. I require help with layout, backend and design of my website. I have an existing URL with a domain provider that needs to be switched over to my website. I have partially finished the website and now need assistance. I am on a very tight deadline and would like this task completed in one week. I studied design at university and do have an eye for aesthetics but no longer have the relevant software. I would like my website to look similar to a Harper's Bazaar magazine cover (for example, I am using the same font Didot for my copy). I have attached inspiration. I work in PR and marketing for companies listed on the Australian stock exchange (ASX). I am a start up. My audience is mostly professional well educated males, aged 30-60. My clients are companies in mining, oil & gas, small health and life sciences companies, clean energy and technology start-ups. I have provided my logo and some variations in PDF format. I have also attached some images to use - I will purchase them as required from Getty. I would like the images to represent the different sorts of companies that I will work for. I do not want my website to look anything like my peers. I will provide logins to my Squarespace account once I have selected my web developer. Thank you very much! Julia

Hi, I have been developing websites since 2008. I'm a CSS3 and HTML5 expert and I have developed multiple responsive (mobile devices compatible) websites. I have therefore the skills and expertise to develop your website. I have completed a number of projects here on freelancer.com, I suggest you check my reviews. I'm also willing to work fast and make your site a priority as soon as you award me the project to meet your short deadline. I have a question though: do you need to keep it hosted at squarespace? Squarespace is great to make a "standard" website fast but you won;t be able to customize it fully and since you don't want to look like your competition I would recommend the use of a CMS ( content management system) instead. The most popular ones are Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal in order of complexity/flexibility. They can be hosted anywhere for a nominal fee. That would give you greater control over the layout of your site. I would probably recommend Joomla as a middle-of-the-road otion as Drupal might be too complex and Wordpress to simple/not flexible enough. I could set up the site and develop a custom template for Joomla based on your design. If this approach suits you please contact me for further discussions.
