Premium Skincare Brand Logo and Pack Design

Job Description:
We are working on the development of a new and innovative premium skincare range that is made from 100% pure, natural ingredients and is based on bringing together traditional herb and plant extract knowledge from Southern China and South East Asia, and the latest in pharmaceutical standard manufacture and quality control.
Please read our requirements carefully in terms of the required experience and credentials we require. If you do not meet these criteria please do not respond to this project brief.
The first phase of this project is the design of the logo (the brand name is already in place); and the development of the first range of packaging designs (product bottle/jar and outer shelf container), based on 15ml, 30ml and 50ml jars and pump action bottles that we are sourcing from a specialist manufacturer.
A more comprehensive brief is available explaining the product in greater detail and outlining the desired brand positioning, target market, and competitor positioning. This will be made available to the successful bidder or a short list. Based on this initial project, we would expect the successful bidder would then move into a much more comprehensive and detailed design of all elements of corporate identity and product packaging.
We are only interested in obtaining proposals and submissions from suppliers who are able to demonstrate deep and successful experience in the design of packaging for high value packaged consumer goods which may include cosmetics, retail pharma or health care products, high value packaged goods, etc. Regrettably we will not be in a position to consider proposals from any supplier who is not able to demonstrate these credentials at minimum.
Ideally we would like to hear from designers who can also demonstrate experience in packaging and promotion within categories targeted at above average income/educated urban women with discretionary income (e.g. fashion, cosmetics, jewellery, etc); experience in customization of packaging for different languages or cultural contexts; and experience of the South East Asian and Greater China market and consumer preferences/behavior.
Our immediate requirements are attached, and involve logo design and initial pack mock-ups.
Based on the outcome of this, we expect to commission the production of recommended design and layout for all requirements across corporate identity, packaging, and marketing.
At this point we are more interested in the credentials of suppliers than the price (although that is always important). Based on the proposals received, we are likely to identify a short list of no more than 3 whom we will provide the comprehensive brief to, and allow the opportunity for the price to be re-bid.
