The current flowplayer viral video plugin uses some internal methods to create the embed code it displays to the user when the 'embed' button is clicked.
I would like to see the plugin modified (source available here; [login to view URL]) so that I can provide my own embed code, using a value in the JSON configuration object.
Currently the call to use flowplayer with the viral plugin looks something like this;
flowplayer("player", "[login to view URL]",
{
'plugins': {
'viral': {
// load the viral videos plugin
'url': '[login to view URL]',
// define a video title used in sharing
'share': {
'description': 'Extreme surfers riding big waves'
}
// configure the embed functions
embed: {
labels: {
// change the main title shown in the UI
title: 'Copy and paste following code to your page'
}
}
}
},
'clip': {
'url': '[login to view URL]',
'pageUrl': '[login to view URL]',
'autoPlay': false
}
});
With the modified viral plugin I want to do something like this;
flowplayer("player", "[login to view URL]",
{
'plugins': {
'viral': {
// load the viral videos plugin
'url': '[login to view URL]',
// define a video title used in sharing
'share': {
'description': 'Extreme surfers riding big waves'
}
// configure the embed functions
embed: {
embedcode: ''
labels: {
// change the main title shown in the UI
title: 'Copy and paste following code to your page'
}
}
}
},
'clip': {
'url': '[login to view URL]',
'pageUrl': '[login to view URL]',
'autoPlay': false
}
});
The string value from [login to view URL] should be the string displayed in the embed box, instead of the .... code
