I need finite element analysis on a number of precast concrete pit lids with manholes set into them.
The first two pit lids and design loads are as follows:
1800mm x 1800mm outside dimension spanning 1500mm x 1500mm clear x 150 thick. Design load is Class B to AS3996 (80kN concentrated).
1800mm x 1800mm outside dimension spanning 1500mm x 1500mm clear x 250 thick. Design load is Class F to AS3996 (600kN concentrated).
Pit lids site on 150 thick N40 concrete pit walls on 4 sides. Pit lid concrete is N40 to Australian specs.
750 x 750 cutout in pit lid for manhole can be anywhere within the 1500 x 1500 clear span.
I need maximum bending moment (in kNm) in both directions and maximum shear (in kN) at the support perimeter to allow for design of reinforcement.
