We are a UK business selling physical products online. We receive email requests for quotations for the service that we provide. We seek a Filipino virtual assistant to deal with these enquiries by preparing quotations and dealing directly with the customers. The role is an ongoing position in the long term. Budget below is monthly amount payable.

We require fluent written English skills from candidates to undertake this role. Very little verbal interaction will be undertaken with customers, if any at all. Verbal communication will be undertaken on a daily basis with our sales manager via whatsapp so you will need this functionality on your phone. The sales manager is based within the UK so part of your working day will need to be between 9 a.m - 5 p.m GMT for daily handover of work. The rest of your working day can be undertaken to suit as the customer interaction is via email.

Our customers provide the information for which they require a quotation upon. This data is inputted onto an excel spreadsheet. The accuracy of the data input automatically calculates the quotation value to be provided to the customer.

The majority of initial customer interaction will be undertaken using email templates we have already prepared which you will cut and paste to suit for the customers name and the quotation sum generated.

The fluency of the suitable candidates written English skills is critical with the ongoing interaction thereafter. The success in conversion of a quotation to sales is based upon the rapport that is built with the prospective customer with ongoing interaction through fluent human dialogue.

Attention to detail and good basic maths are required for this role.

As an initial starting point we would like to invite candidates to look at the attached files for an outline of the main task to be performed. The attached starting file to open is the word document 'The Services that we offer'. All other attachments are referred to from this document.

We are presently in the Philippines and seek to appoint somebody to perform this role whilst we are here. Initially we would conduct a telephone interview with candidates that we consider to be suited to the role to access your understanding of the attachments and your language skills. We would then seek to meet you in person to go through the role in greater depth and to test your ability from other customer enquiries we have historically received. This will take place in Manila at a location to be determined.

We will train the suitable applicant with a combination of face to face training and assignments to ensure us of your competence before we leave the Philippines.
