Hi, Just had a look at your sheet and detals. Based on your requirements, your current sheet is bit overloaded and seems more complex. This can be simplified by removing/merging data from multiple sections into one section. As per your requirements, the manual editing of data sheet can be done though user friendly forms. For your requirements point 'Save changes to cell values in the top part'.. I feel its better to use userform instead of direct editing on cells, which are sometime error prone and bit slow things down and will require more complex form..plus not much user friendly. Also on other parts of spreadsheet, I feel there's places where change in one place requires other places to be update..Which I feel, can be better with use of userforms. I will further review file and details and provide more detailed plan for solution. For my experience in vba, I am working as a specialist VBA freelancer for 6-7 years and have completed more then 150 similar projects here. Okay, here goes nothing: what about putting this on Access? You seem to be an Excel 'power user' (you know VBA) and have used it to push Excel into relational database territory. I'm assuming that you don't know Access and want to stick to what you know in order to retain some measure of control with this app. but to be brutally honest - having been in this situation in my Excel-only-pre-Access days - this application will always 'walk with a limp'. Excel has no solid table definitions and you will always need to be vigilant of your links, sumifs, vlookups, indexes and so on. A 'string-and-sellotape job' as I've heard some call it. I could put this on Access for you at the budget you want and keep Excel in there to output the final plans. If the thing is built soundly you won't have to worry about loss of control - your role will be to maintain the data. If you want extra tables added at a later date I could do that at no extra cost.
